A couple of things you want to know... Many kennels require Puppy-Owner Contracts and make
unnecessary owner demands on buyers Preference is always shown to individual Doberman lovers and families who would like a quality pet as a new family member in the house with the understanding that these pups will grow into very intelligent and somewhat sizeable animals. Dobermans were bred to be guardians with definite territorial traits. They are police dogs by their nature and they will require obedience training with their masters at their side for best results. A six foot fenced-in yard guarantees to keep them safe from outside trouble as well. Yes our breeders are all health tested and they have always been since the 1st litter to ever leave here. OFA, DCM, Thyroid, vWD, No Z Factor allowed here. There are other health tests we do here occasionally and those are canine specific such as brucellosis and we constantly stay after our de-worming because we are located in the country where wildlife flourishes. Selling pups to responsible Doberman breeders is not a problem here so long as they are breeding Dobermans to advance the breed and they demonstrate concerns with the health and welfare of our pup. Owners who show Dobermans and professional working dog handlers are always welcome here. There are no limits to a Doberman's capabilities and they're especially suited for S&R, tracking and vapor work. I really need to know that my pups will be welcome pets in a new owners home and not destined to live the life of a caged animal or left outside to waste away in someone's backyard. Lastly, new owners will be asked to make a personal guarantee that their pup will not be sold to a pet store or some puppy mill situation as that would void the sale and the kennel will seek lawful return of the puppy. We must have faith in the goodness in peoples hearts where young and innocent animals are concerned and we must rely on the decency of the folks we choose who will buy an Idlewild pup. Standard Pricing is $1,200 to $1,500 on occasion a slightly higher fee may appear for an exceptional pup as would be expected in any given business situation. Holding deposit is 50%, balance due prior to shipping or upon final sale. Price includes: tail dock, dew claws removed, ear cropping, puppy worming and initial shots with a health certificate from kennel vet. Special order changes by the customer can be made to kennel prior to these services, no problem. All purchases are no strings attached. USA domestic is at buyers expense which is simply the airfare and new crate
